Giving Back

Susan Scott Watts gives back through various organizations:

 

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo:
Susan’s great grandfather co-established the “Houston Fat Stock Show” in 1931 with Mr. Jim Sartwelle. Her family legacy has been to be involved and give back to the youth of the Greater Texas Gulf Coast.
 
Quarter Horse Committee:

Member of the horse committee, solicit funds for youth horse show winners.
 
All Breeds Cattle Sale: 

The legacy committee of the founders of the Houston Livestock Show, this committee host two annual cattle sales of all breeds to showcase brood females and breeding bulls for producers to improve their herds.  Susan helps with publicity and communications.
 
Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo:

Susan formerly served on the Horse Committee, helping raise scholarship funds for youth riders and now serves on the Vine 2 Wine Committee, which helps showcase Texas wine growers and vintners.
 
Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Foundation: 

As a member of a Texas pioneer ranching family, Susan serves on the TSCRA Foundation Scholarship committee and contributes part of her earning to help award Texas student scholarships to Texas Colleges and University for studies in Agriculture.
 
Susan serves her church and several other boards, helping with board governance, fundraising, and social media/marketing. She contributes part of her earnings in commissions to student scholarships for studies in Agriculture to Texas Colleges and Universities. She also supports local 4-H and FFA organizations.
